Episode 17 – Suspiria (A Cover Film Done Right)

When is the last time you saw a film that left you speechless? What about a film that days, weeks, months after viewing it you can’t seem to get it out of your head? Nigel and Josh had the same experience with Luda Guadagnino’s “cover” of Dario Argento’s 1977 film, Suspiria. In a lot of ways this film is very similar to the original, but at the same time, it is a completely different animal. This week, Nigel and Josh dive into those differences while also examining the film’s themes of motherhood, division, and Tilda Swinton’s amazing triple role. Don’t miss this incredible episode of A Journey Into Film: The Podcast!
